CUSTOMER SERVICE

CUSTOMER SERVICE RULES TO LIVE BY

As you all may know, I am a bit of a shopaholic.  I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to shop, but with that comes a love for good customer service. I am known for walking out of stores for not getting good customer service. Here are the things that make me turn away.

{ 1 }

SPEAK WITH IN THE FIRST 30 SECONDS OF SOMEONE WALKING IN THE STORE

Yes I said 30 SECONDS, I’m not asking for to much here, just a simple “hey, how are you?” will work.  The reason your customers want this is because they need to know you know that they are in the store. People LOVE acknowledgement,,

DO NOT BE ON YOUR CELL PHONE

I’m not to sure I can preach this one enough. When there are customers in the store they should be receiving your attention not your cellphone. Its very unprofessional, you are there to help the customers not text or be on social media.

{ 3 }

DO NOT MAKE THE CUSTOMER PUT THEIR CLOTHES IN THE FITTING ROOM

You are working in customer service, you’re job is to help the customer and provide the best service therefore you need to help the customer. If the customer has a handful of things ask if they would like to try them on and let you hold them at the register so they can shop with ease.

{ 4 }

DO NOT HAVE A SOUR ATTITUDE

If you do not like your job, where you work, or just life in general the customer should have no clue. Your sour attitude is enough to make anyone want to leave and be done shopping for the day. Customers deserve to have a great day just like you do, so don’t be the one to ruin it.

{ 5 }

THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT

The customer will always be right no matter what you say they will be right. You may think that you know all about the subject, you may but at this time the customer is right.

XOXO
